WHO WE ARE

MISSION

The National Association of Hebrew Teachers in North America works to promote the instruction and study of the Hebrew language and Hebrew culture across various educational platforms.

VISION

Throughout the history of the Jewish people, the Hebrew language has played a central role in shaping the consciousness of the Jews, both collectively and individually. Gaining proficiency in Hebrew not only helps one communicate, but also strengthens one’s cultural and linguistic identity and deepens one’s sense of belonging to the Jewish people’s culture and language.
